Practical and well priced
Grand is a good value hotel centrally located near Constitution Square. my single room, though fairly compact, was cheery, comfortable and well designed for working with several chairs, desk, and, unusually for a small room, a good sized wardrobe. The bathroom had a shower, plenty of hotwater and like the rest of the room nice and clean. It was also quiet, and the a/c worked properly. It was also on a non smoking floor.
Out of hours service though was essentially non existent. I needed some water after 10pm, when the bar and ground floor shop had shut - the room had a minibar fridge but no contents! Although if you need a drink you can go to the Casino on the ground floor in the hotel which seemed popular and was apparently open all night.
The location is easy walking distance to the old Town and the other key sights in Warsaw |
